Most characters don’t scare me. Not beyond reason anyway. Some of the scariest characters to me are serial killers, but most from stories I like, well I don’t fit their profiles. Hannibal kills rude people. Dexter kills criminals who escape justice. Then there’s Jimmie. Jimmie is fascinating to read about, but him… him I fear because I could become one of his Things.
