Life and Things

So, this past week has been fun. * sarcastic font *  One of my very back molars literally disintegrated. Cue major freakout. Now, mind, I brush my teeth often, and I floss, but I haven’t been to the dentist in a while. Several back to back bad experiences after my dentist retired led me to avoid going. Like, major panic attack not going. I mean, you’d think if something is really wrong, your body would tell you. That’s what pain is for, yeah? Well, nope. Not this time. I went to a new local dentist the very next day and turns out a crack in the tooth let a cavity form on the inside only. I go to a dental surgeon July 1st to have the remnants pulled. It never hurt at all. Yay? And lesson learned….  I liked this new dentist, so once this heals, I’ll make an appointment to have x-rays, and a full checkup. I hope I don’t need too much work, but I’m pretty sure I need some.

Learn from my mistake, kids. Going to the dentist is important.

In other exciting news, I have my biopsy date- July 29th. Extra double yay.

Oh yes, and I had to call 911 because of an erratic intruder that tried to attack me at work after I told him we had no public restroom and no, he could not pee in my lobby. I tried our local police dispatch several times but never got an answer. Turns out their power had gone out and dispatch was going through 2 cities over. Guy had knocked over every single one of our recycle bins in anger.

The officer who came out was a real sweetie. He had picked up part while searching the grounds and helped me pick up the rest when we went to check for more serious damage on the property.  Thankfully, there was none.
