It’s been a long, stressful week. I got a final diagnosis for what’s been going on… After ruling out everything from autoimmune, to thyroid and other gland disorders, the verdict is CFFM or chronic fatigue/ fibromyalgia. Apparently it is now seen as a sliding continuum, and if you have one, you have the other. You can move along the scale, but may have a predominant side. Mine seems about the middle, leaning more towards the pain side. Sleep’s been shoddy this week too. Fun times…
But! I got a new recliner that was delivered Friday. Our couches are pushing 30 yrs old and are all cronked up. They’ve played havoc with my bad hip and bad knees for too long. I’m so excited!! Of course, it would come as my work week starts and I’m not upstairs as often. And the curious clowder was fascinated by it and immediately deemed it theirs. So far, no one has tried to use it as a scratch post.
