Life and Things
We got kittens! Just what our elder kitties wanted 😆😂 Loki and Zatanna Do’Urden are a brother and sister pair we adopted from the same shelter we adopted our other furbabies from.
I’ve started training both Loki and Zatanna with basic commands. They are young yet, so lose interest quickly. I made a good choice with Loki. He’s a buzzbox and snugglebug. If he stays that way, he’ll be great for helping thwart flares by increasing oxytocin.
Though my energy levels are decreasing overall, I’ve been steadily increasing my walking. I did my Devil’s Slide walk this past month, and have been extending my walking range. That endurance seems to be coming back, despite the overall decrease in energy. We’ve started doing the prep work to get me to see a rheumatologist. Yay? I’ve started a blood pressure med because it’s been steadily creeping up despite all the positive health changes.
The property has a buyer, and should finalise mid-May. My share ended up being more than I expected. I can get my prostheses, finally. I also have big plans to get new glasses, and new Birkenstocks. Those are great shoes, but rather expensive 😧
Blog Stuff
I haven’t been doing much updating, or anything, Â really, given the chronic pain and fatigue. It’s getting harder to write reviews, much less good reviews. Thinking gets difficult more often, which scares me, though I’ve not shared that with anyone before. I value my mind, and intelligence and to have that slowly slipping away is downright terrifying.

One kitten is black and his sister is black and white. Our elderly ladies are solid white and white with mackerel tabby.
